He focuses his orthopedic outpatient private practice on individualized one hour treatment sessions that include functional manual therapy, sports performance, and strength and conditioning. He also serves as the lead PT for the Washington Nationals Baseball Team.

Seth Michael Blee, PT, DPT

Dr. Seth Blee has worked with professional athletes in many sports, including baseball, football, soccer, hockey, basketball, lacrosse, and mixed martial arts. He served as the Head Team Physical Therapist for the Washington Nationals from 2016-2023, and for the Washington Spirit of the National Women???s Soccer League from 2020-2022. He can be seen in ESPN???s Project 11 as he was the PT for 2020 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, Alex Smith. _x000D__x000D_Dr. Blee graduated from Boston College’s pre-medical program where he was also a Division 1 athlete. He then went on to receive his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Columbia University. He completed his transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 from Arizona???s AT Still University. Seth has completed extensive continuing education coursework and training in manual therapy, orthopedics, and sports performance and he has earned his Certification in Functional Manual Therapy from the Institute of Physical Art (IPA)._x000D__x000D_Seth is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, which he integrates into his treatment of athletes of all ages. He is certified in Sportsmetrics for injury prevention, trigger point dry needling, and Blood Flow Restriction therapy through the Owens Recovery Institute._x000D__x000D_Dr. Blee has done lecturing in orthopedics, joint mobilizations, stabilization training, and PNF at several universities throughout the country. He has also taught over 100 advanced continuing education courses to physical therapists with the IPA including PNF, CoreFirst Strategies, the Kinetic Shoulder Complex, as well as a course that he created for treating high level athletes entitled Strategies for Optimizing Performance. _x000D__x000D_He has now taken his experience in manual therapy, strength and conditioning, and working with athletes of all ages and all levels and created Blee Elite Sports Therapy!
