APTA Spokesperson

Jennifer (Jenny) Sharp is an assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine, Division of Physical Therapy, and physical therapist at Emory Healthcare.

Sharp earned a doctor of physical therapy degree from Emory University and a doctorate in education from Northeastern University. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy. She has served in leadership roles within APTA's Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy and APTA Georgia. She has over a decade of experience as an acute care and critical care physical therapist. Sharp has published research on intensive care rehabilitation, interprofessional education, simulation-based learning, and belongingness.
