APTA Spokesperson
Monique Caruth is a leader in the home health rehabilitation space. She is the founder and CEO of Caruth Home Health, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Additionally, she is a co-host of the Alex and Mo podcast, which aims to inspire clinicians, patients, and clients by having open conversations about health care issues.
She is a member of APTA’s Nominating Committee. Caruth has served as secretary for both the Academy of Home Health and APTA Maryland, and as Vice President of APTA Maryland.
Caruth holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a doctor of physical therapy degree. She was the 2022 recipient of APTA Maryland’s Henry O. Kendall and Florence’s Kendall award.
