Ethel M. Frese, PT, DPT, MHS, CCS, is an associate professor in the Doisy College of Health Sciences at Saint Louis University. She also serves as adjunct instructor in the program of physical therapy at Washington University School of Medicine, and at the Meramec Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Her primary teaching responsibilities are in cardiopulmonary, exercise physiology, and therapeutic exercise. A board certified specialist in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy, Frese is currently the president of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Section of APTA.
