She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, and her career spans clinical practice, education, and mentorship, rooted in a deep commitment to supporting both patients and providers through a whole-person, evidence-informed approach to care. With advanced certifications in Orthopedic and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, Dr. Mehta integrates movement science with nervous system regulation, stress management, and lifestyle-based strategies to optimize function, resilience, and long-term health outcomes. As Founder and CEO of TeachPhysio, she empowers healthcare professionals and organizations through evidence-based education in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), bridging traditional healing systems with modern science. She develops and teaches integrative healthcare programs, including acupressure-based courses that combine principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with neurophysiology to support pain modulation, recovery, and overall wellness.
