Physical therapists are doctorate-educated licensed health care professionals who work with people of all ages and abilities — from birth to older adults. They help people improve movement, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent injury and disability. PTs are movement experts who improve quality of life through hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement.

Tips for Finding a PT Near You

  • Enter city and state, or zip code to show PTs by distance only.
  • Need specialized care? Enter your criteria in the "Condition, ..." field to list PTs whose profiles may be relevant, and use the "Sort by Relevancy" feature. You can toggle between sorting by distance or relevance.
  • Can't find a PT with specific experience or expertise nearby? Expand the "distance" radius.
  • Use filters to display only board-certified specialists or PTs who offer telehealth or home visits.

Did you know? Physical therapists can help you improve your heart health and overall wellness — even if you're not injured. You do not need a physician's referral to see a physical therapist. Find a PT near you for an evaluation and treatment to support your health and wellness goals.
