• Breast Cancer, Lymphedema and the Role of Physical Therapy

    October 23, 2012: October is National Physical Therapy Month and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Although many consumers might not think of physical therapy and breast cancer treatment being related, in this interview a physical therapist describes why physical therapy is so important in a breast cancer treatment plan, not just eventually but early on. She also outlines the relationship between breast cancer and lymphedema and provides advice for those who might be at risk.
