Dr. Hayes focuses on health services research in individuals post-stroke. Current research is seeking to understand discharge placement after acute stroke episodes. Her goal is to have each patient placed into the appropriate setting for optimal recovery after stroke. _x000D_ Dr. Hayes is the chair of the Stroke special interest group of the Academy of neurologic physical therapy within the APTA.
