Practice Description: Practicing in an Hospital-based outpatient facility with a neurological/balance focus seeing patients with a variety of orthopedic issues, neurological rehab (i.e. stroke, MS, ALS, TBI), prosthetic training with prosthesist next door, manual therapy, vestibular rehab, as well as lymphedema treatments. This facility also performs wheelchair evaluations and most therapists are ASTYM and Dry needling certified.

Laura Leigh Sherwood, PT, DPT

I am a licensed Physical Therapist at St. Francis Rehab Main Street Village Columbus, GA. I have been employed with Human Performance and Rehabilitation Centers, Inc. since 2010 immediately after graduating with my degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is an APTA Board Certified Clinical Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) since 2014. She is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and is certified in dry needling and ASTYM.

Professional Education

She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010 from University of South Florida, and also has a Bachelor???s Degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University in 2006.
