Practice Description: The outpatient orthopedic clinic at TOSH provides expert physical therapy care tailored to athletes and individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries. In addition, the integrated Sport Science biomechanics lab conducts research and provided state of the art return-to-sport testing, running gait analysis, and physiology assessments (VO2 max, lactate threshold). By integrating clinical expertise with biomechanics research, we help athletes recover, prevent injury, and optimize performance.

Darby Middlebrook, PT, DPT

I am a physical therapist specializing in lower extremity conditions, endurance athletes, and female sports medicine. Alongside patient care, I work in the Sport Science biomechanics lab at TOSH, where I strive to enhance care standards and contribute to research on female athletes, bone stress injuries, and RED-S. Through evidence-based, patient-centered care, I empower athletes to achieve their goals while prioritizing long-term health and performance.
