Practice Description: A special interest in managing all debilitating pain but especially arthritic pain of the back, neck, shoulders, hips & knees. Special training in the technique of Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) for pain management was obtained in 2009. Special training has also been obtained with regard to the Graston Technique, which is a soft tissue mobilization technique used for painful orthopedic conditions such as back and neck pain. Dr. Eschman is also a Silver Sneakers Provider.

Joseph M. Eschman, PT, DPT
Dr. Eschman is passionate about Physical Therapy for the elderly, therefore, in 1996 he became one of the first Geriatric Certified Specialists (GCS) in Ohio when he was certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS). He has been re-certified in 2006, 2016 & most recently in 2026. He has a large variety of clinical practice experience including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health & Acute Care settings and has for the past 22 years owned Eschman PT, LLC.Professional Education
Dr Eschman graduated in 1987 from The Ohio State University as a physical therapist from the School of Allied Medical Professions. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in December of 2012 from the College of St. Scholastica.Board Certifications
